The Collegiate and Pre-Collegiate programs are looking to hire students for it's 5 week summer program, as Residential Teaching Assistants for Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics (Statistics, Calculus & Pre Calculus). Our Residential Teaching Assistants receive a stipend, housing and meals for the duration of the program, including training.
Residential Teaching Assistant - The Residential Teaching Assistant serves as an academic assistant as well as a community builder, leader and role model. The Residential TA models respect for diverse backgrounds, opinions and beliefs.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Attend all training and program planning sessions, including all‑day and evening sessions.
- All training sessions are mandatory and are scheduled throughout the week of Monday, June 27th — Friday, July 1st.
- Assist with Opening and Closing of the residence hall for the entire day and evening on Tuesday, July 5th, Thursday, August 4th, and Friday, August 5th.
- Complete evaluations and administrative details after the program.
- Attend staff meetings each week.
- Other duties as assigned.
