Job Description
We are a warm, boutique dermatology office dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalized medical care, along with skincare and aesthetic services. Our goal is to help patients look and feel their best through evidence-based medical and cosmetic dermatology in an unrushed, tranquil setting. Ideal start in September 2026.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, polite, professional, and comfortable assisting in both medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures. This role combines clinical excellence with attentive patient service. Some front desk work (answering and returning phone calls) will be required.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet and prepare patients for dermatologic exams and procedures
• Assist the doctor during medical, surgical, and cosmetic treatments
• Clean and prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain supplies
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and skincare routines
• Support front-desk tasks as needed (scheduling, check-in/out, calls)
• Maintain a calm, professional, welcoming presence
Qualifications
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) a plus but not necessary
• 1+ year of dermatology or aesthetics experience strongly preferred
• Certification in phlebotomy services a plus
• Ideal for candidate who is looking to pursue medical, nursing, dental or PA school
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) ideal
• Strong organizational skills, self motivated and attention to detail
