CU STRIVE is a club at Columbia that mentors and tutors youth with sickle cell disease on campus. We recently received funding from the Alternative Break Program to run an advocacy and awareness program related to absenteeism tied to chronic conditions in inner-city public schools. We are looking to recruit students who would be interested in participating in planning and executing our project over Spring break.
