Dr. Levinson, the Director of the Eating Anxiety Treatment (EAT) lab at the University of Louisville, is hiring a full time study coordinator to work on a National Institute of Mental Health supported study examining how eating disorder symptoms and physiology across time predict relapse and recovery. As part of this work, we are developing a multidisciplinary program with the engineering department and there will be many opportunities for cross-collaboration with our engineering colleagues. This position will involve working with clinical participants with eating disorders, running the day to day aspects of this study, working on grant proposals and publications, assisting with data preparation, assisting with institutional review board protocols, and working with a large interdisciplinary team both at UofL and with cross-site collaborators. The study coordinator will work very closely with Dr. Levinson on a day to day basis.
Opportunities for involvement in publications and presentations at national conferences are plentiful. Minimum experience is a bachelors’ degree in either psychology, engineering, computer science or a related field. Research experience is a must. This position is ideal for someone wanting to go to graduate school in a health related field. This position is renewable for up to three years and preference will be given to a postbac who can commit to at least two years.
