Rear Admiral Bruce Gillingham, the US Navy Surgeon General, leads the 64,000 Navy Medicine personnel in ensuring US Navy and US Marine Corps medical readiness. In a presentation, he will provide a brief overview of the scope of Navy Medicine and then discuss the variety of ways in which Navy Medicine responded to the COVID pandemic across multiple medical disciplines and specialties to ensure that the Navy and Marine Corps can continue their mission both at home and abroad.
