The Veterans Affair New York Harbor Health Care System (VA-NYHHS), in collaboration with the Narrow Institute for Biomedical Research Inc is seeking a Research Assistant (RA) to work on clinical trials to improve health care delivery and health outcome for veterans with cancer. The Research Assistant will provide coordination and administrative support for the John and Daria Barry Foundation Precision Oncology Center of Excellence (COE) trials funded by the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) as well as trials associated with NYU School of Medicine Perlmutter Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office (CTO) and NYU Departments of Population Health, Urology, and Medicine, division of Medical Oncology in addition to Pharmaceutical Industry Clinical Trials. The research assistant position is supervised by Dr. Daniel Becker and the Program Manager and involves coordinating active and forthcoming study protocols, implementation of study protocol, collecting and monitoring data, shipping specimens as well as compliance reporting.
