VMCAS 2021 Application Launches January 22, 2020

The Veterinary Medical College Application Service (VMCAS) announces a change for the 2021 application cycle. Applicants will be able to start an application without needing to select a program. On January 22, 2020, applicants will be able to access other sections of the application to begin inputting data. Starting May 12, 2020, programs will become available to applicants and at this time applicants will be allowed to submit applications.

Columbia's Postbaccalaureate Premedical Studies Program is sponsoring an information session on Technion American Medical School in Haifa, Israel featuring an admissions representative. If you are considering applying to Technion's medical program in the future, you are encouraged to attend!

Columbia Synapse Event This Friday

Join Columbia Synapse on December 6th from 1-2pm for discussions about the treatment, research, and social component of traumatic brain injury. Prehealth Overview Session - December 5

All students who have not yet attended a Prehealth Overview session are welcome to join us on Thursday, December 5, 2:00 - 3:00 PM, at Beyond Barnard (Elliott Hall, 2nd floor). Whether you're finishing up your first semester at Barnard or a senior who is interested in exploring health professions for the first time, an Overview session will provide you with valuable information about coursework, academic planning, and building a portfolio that will help you to become a successful applicant. Students with interests in any and all clinical professions are encouraged to attend!

This Thursday's meeting will be the last Prehealth Overview for Fall 2019. We'll begin our spring semester schedule in late January 2020.
