Announcement: New Major Track in Medical Anthropology-- Drop In Open House on Oct 16th

Event: Graduate Health Discovery Fair at Adelphi University

Dear Health Advisor Colleagues and Pre-Health Career Students:

I would like to invite you to the Adelphi University Graduate Health Discovery Fair being held on Columbus Day, Monday, October 9th from 1-4 PM in the University Center. Attached is a list of the numerous health careers that will be represented including medical, dental, physical therapy and physician assistant programs among many others. There will also be several seminars that I trust will be of interest including Cardiovascular Perfusion; The Physician Assistant, Becoming a Research Associate and Everything (well Almost Everything) You Need to Know about the Application Process.

Announcement: 2018 MCAT Information

News from AAMC:
The 2018 MCAT calendar and testing locations are now available online. Registration for the first half of the 2018 testing year (January – June) will open late October (dates to be announced).  Follow AAMC on Twitter @AAMC_MCAT for regular updates and announcements

AAMC is deeply committed to the needs of students with disadvantages. Though it doesn’t cover travel costs, the AAMC’s Fee Assistance Program covers the cost of MCAT practice materials, the Medical School Admission RequirementsTM, and up to 16 medical school applications. Additionally, it significantly reduces registration fees for the exam. Information about the Fee Assistance Program is available on the AAMC’s website.
