Sidney Kimmel Medical College Info Sessions

Sidney Kimmel Medical College (Jefferson University) will host three virtual info sessions for students interested in applying to their MD program. Upcoming dates are:

• Friday, August 19, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday, October 8, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Saturday, December 10, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

The sessions will feature presentations from the Director of Admissions: Bonnie Emilius and Dean of Admissions: Dr. Alisa LoSasso about applying to SKMC, a student panel on life as an SKMC student, and a virtual tour of our facilities. Job Posting: Medical Assistant/Receptionist in Manhattan

We are seeking a part time / full time Medical Assistant to join our Upper East Side internal medicine & gastroenterology office. We are looking for a student / post-graduate student who has an interest in medicine and is looking for a great experience in all areas of a medical office, including patient phlebotomy and vitals, lab transmissions, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurances.

Location: Medical Associates of Manhattan (Upper East Side)
Role: Medical Assistant / Front Desk Receptionist
Pay: Competitive hourly pay based on experience
Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 8AM-4PM / Friday:  8AM-2PM / Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Requirements: Bachelors Degree
History of medical work, research, pre-requisites
Minimum of 1 year commitment
Preferences:
Patient vitals / Phlebotomy (~1 year preferred)
EMR system (~1 year preferred)
