Mentoring Opportunity: Physicians Unite to Lead Student Experiences (PULSE)

PULSE connects undergraduate, pre-medical students with a physician mentor and facilitates medical exploration and conversation. Students commit to at least 2, 45-minute virtual meetings over the span of 3 months where students will learn about their physician’s career as well as learn more about a topic relevant to their speciality. More specifically, the second meeting will feature you casually presenting literature research to your mentor and having a meaningful discussion. During the Summer 2022 cycle, we will be launching a regional cohort program that matches students with physicians in the same geographic region. We hope this new program will foster opportunities for students and Physician Mentors to meet in-person outside of our program, if they so choose.

To apply, students can fill out the Google Form, linked below. Any student who is attending college in the U.S. (or recently graduated) is welcome to sign up. The application closes July 1st. To learn more about our program, please visit our website.
