Join Beyond Barnard for a panel discussion of the stages of medical education, featuring Barnard alumnae who are currently in medical school on Wednesday, October 20, 6:00 - 7:00 PM! Course Fee: $1500 + $28 for State Exam (if not from NY, extra charge of $98 for the NREMT exam)

  • 1/10-1/27 (Zoom sessions 10am-2pm)
  • In-person sessions will be on January 23-26 with PPE and social distancing. Practical State Exam will be on 1/27

  • Upon successful completion of the course, you'll get an EMT-B license from the NYS-DOH and BLS (CPR) by the AHA. You will also be eligible to take the national online NREMT exam after successful completion of this course in order to become nationally certified and practice in your home state.

Qualifications: Must be 17 years old. No need to be a resident or have a driver's license.

Event: Veterinary Medical Profession, Virtual Panel Discussion

 Columbia's annual panel discussion on the veterinary profession will take place on 10/21 at 7 pm. Students are invited to join panelists working in different areas of veterinary medicine for a discussion of how they chose and followed their various career paths. Also, part of the evening is a presentation by Jennifer Mailey at Cornell’s veterinary school on veterinary school admissions.
