Job Opportunity: Research Technician, Weill Cornell Medicine

Exciting opportunity to have a big impact on the long-term direction and culture of a new laboratory at Weill Cornell Medicine in NYC.

We study the biology of axons in the nervous system with the goal to discover the molecules that control their survival as a window to understand the process of neurodegeneration. Our second interest is in the complex interactions between axons and tumors, which are increasingly appreciated as a major determinant of cancer metastasis. We pursue these questions in mice and in cell culture.

This is a research-focused position that presents substantial opportunity for independent research projects. It is best suited for ambitious, enthusiastic recent college graduates with an interest in future graduate or medical studies. A minimum two-year commitment is required due to a substantial training effort associated with the position. This position will start in Summer, 2022.
