Would you like to help support gender health equity and HIV/AIDS prevention while enjoying delicious cookie dough delivered to your room during the stress of reading week?
If so, you’re in luck!
This finals season, GlobeMed will be delivering personal-sized jars of NYC’s famous DŌ cookie dough to raise money for our partner organization, GWED-G (Gulu Women’s Economic Development and Globalization), a grassroots NGO that promotes HIV awareness, community empowerment, and gender health equity in the post-conflict regions of northern Uganda. For the past decade, GlobeMed has worked with GWED-G on a myriad of projects pertaining to maternal and sexual health including HIV screening and sensitization, family planning, gender-based violence prevention, midwife training, and the provision of seeds and farming training to promote sustainable economic empowerment.
GlobeMed’s annual financial contribution of over $20,000 to GWED-G is largely made possible through on-campus fundraising projects, such as our DŌ sale!
GlobeMed will be accepting orders of four oz. personal pots of cookie dough for $8 via our Google Order Form until Monday, April 16th at 11:59 PM. You can choose from four incredible flavors! Cookie dough will be delivered to the location of your choice on the evening of May 2nd (the Wednesday of Reading Week). All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to GWED-G.
Don’t miss your opportunity to indulge in DŌ without an hour-long line! Order and learn more here: https://goo.gl/forms/put
