The FTRG conducts research on a wide variety of cutting edge topics ranging from (a) how anger, conflict, and family violence affect children's and adults' psychological and physical functioning to (b) defining maltreatment in ways that can be reliably used by field workers to (c) understanding how couples' conflict dynamics relate to violence to (d) furthering our understanding of risk and protective factors for child maltreatment and partner abuse.
We are currently looking for undergraduate and graduate level students who might be seeking to gain more experience in the field of clinical psychology by completing an externship with our group.
This externship will be remote and requires a 2-semester commitment and students typically work 12 hours each week--beginning the week of January 24th, 2021. I am reaching out in hopes that you might be able to forward along the linked application to students in your department or classes who are interested in gaining more experience.
Interested applicants may send their completed applications via the attached link by December 15th. Although mid-December is our priority deadline, we review applications and grant acceptances on a rolling basis. To apply, complete this form.
