Glide Year Opportunity: Research Assistant/Coordinator at WCMC Cardiac MRI Program


Research assistant/coordinator sought for Weill Cornell Medical College Cardiac MRI program
Responsibilities include coordination of active NIH and foundational research protocols, with focus on cardiac imaging and outcomes research. The research assistant/coordinator will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and biomedical engineers, and assume key responsibilities for daily aspects of of patient enrollment and follow-up, data archival/compilation and analysis, and institutional administrative and compliance issues (e.g. IRB, budgetary). Additional opportunities are available for image processing, and scientific writing as part of a highly productive and collaborative team. The coordinator will also have a key role in industry multicenter studies, providing a valuable opportunity for engagement. The position entails a broad array of clinical exposures (ideal for expanding pre-medical knowledge base). 

Employment start date: July 2017 (slight flexibility in start if needed); 1-2 year positions available.

Individuals with scientific background and/or interest in a long-term medical research career are preferred, but not required. Minimum one-year commitment.
