Save the Date: UPenn Program for Students Underrepresented in Medicine

A Day in the Life: A Program for Students Underrepresented in Medicine will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019, hosted by the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

The Office of Admissions, along with student leaders in the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) and the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), welcomes underrepresented students to Philadelphia for a day of interactive sessions that focus on the admissions process and the transition from undergraduate to medical student. The program's goal is to augment prehealth advising by personalizing the process and providing peer connections to provide first-hand experiences and encouragement for the pursuit of careers in medicine and health care. This program is free for all students.

Registration is required and space is limited to the first 150 registrants, so please plan to register early. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Registration will open at this site on January 15, 2019. If you have questions, please contact Yvette Booker (ybooker@pennmedicine.upenn.edu) or Elyssa Goldman (elyssag@pennmedicine.upenn.edu).
