Job Opportunity: Research in Addiction and Women's Mental Health

RESEARCH ASSISTANT POSITION (FULL-TIME): Seeking a highly motivated college graduate to provide support for several research studies within the Division of Alcohol, Drugs, and Addiction and the Division of Women’s Mental Health at McLean Hospital (Belmont, MA) that examine technology-based treatments and group therapy for women with substance use disorders, or factors that influence eating behavior in women with and without eating disorders. Publication and presentation opportunities will be available. This position offers an excellent opportunity for graduating seniors looking for clinical research experience before applying to graduate school in psychology (particularly clinical and counseling programs), the social sciences, public health, or medical school. Applicants should be willing to make a 2-year commitment.

QUALIFICATIONS: (1) BA or BS Degree; (2) Must have at least one year of directly related clinical research experience (which can include undergraduate research experience); (3) Must have demonstrated competence in research techniques and methodologies, strong writing skills, and an ability to work independently; (4) Prior coursework in psychology or related subjects preferred.
START DATE: Anytime after May 1, 2020; preference for start prior to June 1, 2020
