The following new information and data are available in the current edition of MSAR:
From the American Medical College Application Service® (AMCAS®), self-reported by applicants:
- First Year Class Self-Reported Disadvantaged Status (chart)
- First Year Class from Medically Under-Served Areas (chart)
Academic and supporting information provided by individual medical schools:
- Additional assessments required by each medical school*
- Language of instruction*
- Additional Language Proficiency – First Year Class (chart) *
- Additional languages spoken by current medical students at each school*
- Support systems at each medical school for gender and sexual minority students
*Subscription required
Additional general information:
- Most charts have expanded to include four years of data
- Google Maps location with each medical school's main campus
