Job Opportunity: Clinical Research Coordinator, CUMC Rheumatology

The Division of Rheumatology at Columbia University Medical Center seeks a research coordinator to provide support for several clinical trials and observational studies.  The coordinator will support the PI and other research coordinators in conducting clinical trials and observational studies that focus on scleroderma and autoimmune-related interstitial lung disease. The coordinator will report to and be supervised by the study PI. 

The coordinator will assist with (1) the identification, screening, and assessment of potential subjects for studies, (2) data preparation and study file maintenance, (3) obtaining informed consent, ordering pre-randomization tests, and ordering study drugs, and (4) ensuring compliance and study protocol and maintaining case report forms.  The coordinator will also be responsible for retrieval and data entry from the study site and for providing ongoing reports for the PI.  The coordinator will perform other duties as assigned.

 

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in the sciences, social sciences, humanities, engineering, or related fields, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 

 

The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo drug screening prior to a final offer of employment being made.
