Dr. Levinson, the Director of the Eating Anxiety Treatment (EAT) Lab at the University of Louisville (UofL) is hiring a study coordinator/research outcome coordinator. The position will involve working with clinical participants with eating disorders on a wide range of NIH and internally funded projects, primarily focused on treatment development via technology. Some projects you will be involved with include, a randomized controlled trial of an online exposure intervention for eating disorders, virtual reality treatment development, and developing software to personalize eating disorder treatment. This position will also involve working on grant proposals and publications, conducting diagnostic assessments, assisting with data preparation, assisting with institutional review board protocols, and working with a large interdisciplinary team both at UofL and with cross-site collaborators. The study coordinator will work very closely with Dr. Levinson and her team on a day to day basis.
The research outcome coordinator position involves working at a large and growing eating disorder and OCD clinic, also directed by Dr. Levinson. This position is primarily in charge of collecting and managing eating disorder and OCD outcome data for the outpatient and intensive-outpatient programs, as well as working with eating disorder patients to collect data, and assist with administrative tasks.
Opportunities for involvement in publications and presentations at national conferences are available. Minimum experience is a bachelors’ degree in psychology or a related field. Research experience is a must. This position is ideal for someone wanting to go to graduate school in a health-related field. This is a 1-year position with potential for a second year or longer depending on funding and performance.
