The University of Pittsburgh’s Physician Scientist Training Program (PSTP) is a unique 5-year MD program with an emphasis on research. We would love to invite pre-medical students to a PSTP Zoom presentations on Friday, April 2nd at 4 pm ET.
A little more info about the PSTP: we are a 5-year medical school program designed to prepare students for careers as physician-scientists. The PSTP provides students with extensive exposure to basic science research, and we take great care to pair students with individualized research mentors. The most unique component of the PSTP is that each student participates in a fully funded, 1-year research project with the mentor of their choice.
